- I am from Varėna, Lithuania. I loved playing with knitting needles and little projects, but I knitted my first real project (a vest) when I was 13 I believe. My grandma showed knitting basics, but I learnt most intricate patterns from magazine Sandra. I even learnt Polish knitting terms in order to understand that magazine.
